sea-devilry:

More Adrestia concept stuff. So, yeah, Chance is undergoing some big changes at the moment. I’m still in the design process with him, so nothing final here, but this is the general direction I’m headed with him.

sea-devilry:

Vivian’s Waste - environment concept for Adrestia.

sea-devilry:

Sketch from this weekend of Lt. Durand. It was always planned with Adrestia that Durand would eventually have a prosthetic arm made for him, but in the reboot he’ll have one right from the start - whether or not he uses it all the time is another matter (since he isn’t entirely comfortable with it yet).

sea-devilry:

Revisiting designs for Adrestia’s cast (also sort of relearning how to draw them - it’s been a while). Lt. Rivers’s design hasn’t changed much really, just some minor tweaks here and there.

sea-devilry:

Prep sketch for the front cover of Hunt. Had a couple of setbacks with this little comic, but it’s starting to chug along now.

sea-devilry:

Sleepy Carmichael puppies. For financial reasons they are all very very broke, so broke Duncan is sharing lodgings with his elder brothers Robert and Alexander when Hunt takes place. It is not an ideal situation.

a little tiny sneak peak of Hunt for you

sea-devilry:

Sketches of two of Duncan Carmichael’s elder brothers, grumpypants Captain Alexander and Robert James. Robert is a lot like Duncan in terms of personality (and looks) while Alex is much more serious and austere.

Both of these guys will appear in the Hunt comic, and also possibly Adrestia at some point.

sea-devilry:

Trying out some style ideas for Hunt. I think going for a painted look will probably be too time consuming, but I like the sketchy lining on the left one.

sea-devilry:

Two little concept sketches of Carmichael and Ophelia as they appear in Hunt. I have to admit it’s pretty strange drawing Carmichael out of his uniform.

sea-devilry:

Some development sketches from the comic short, Hunt, that I’m working on for Adrestia.

Hunt will feature Duncan Carmichael and Ophelia Durand as the main players, and takes place when Carmichael was still a midshipman, circa 1789.
